Frequently Asked Questions

Lawn Maintenance FAQ's

  1. When does this contract begin and finish? Lawn Care Service will begin approximately mid-April (or when contract is signed) and continue until approximately mid-October.
  2. I didn’t receive lawn service every week this month so why am I still being charged the full monthly rate? Your quoted rate remains the same throughout the length of the contract each month and is not dependant on the number of visits per month. Even months that include 5 weeks of mowing remain at the quoted rate.
  3. What other services are included in this contract? Only services described within the “Services Included” section of the contract are included. Services such as Weeding, Fertilizing, Watering, Planting, Mulching, Hedge trimming, Pruning, etc…are happily provided upon your request at an additional charge.
  4. What happens if it’s raining? In some cases we may be able to rearrange our schedule to come out the day or two before or after. In other cases we may have to skip the week completely and resume service the next week.
  5. What happens in a dry period? We will determine if service is necessary upon our visit. We may rearrange or skip your service call completely until your next visit.
  6. Is leaf pick-up included in this contract? No. You will need to schedule a Fall Clean-up to have the leaves removed. In fact, Service may stop early if no Fall Clean- up is scheduled.
  7. Can I pick the day of the week you provide service? No. Scheduling reflects many factors and is generated by a computer.
  8. Does this contract include any other mowing besides regularly scheduled ones? No. If you need a freshly cut lawn for a party or function, please call and request it. Your regular cost will apply in addition to any premiums.
  9. Will you move my newspaper, trashcan, kid’s toys. For best results, please keep the area clear. Quality of service cannot be guaranteed otherwise.
  10. Can I leave my dog/pet outside? Yes. However we cannot guarantee its safety or confinement. For best results, keep pets inside while service is performed. Owners are responsible for escaped pets.
  11. What else can I do to maximize my Lawn Maintenance investment? Power raking, De-thatching, Aeration, Fertilizing and Over-seeding are great ways to get the most out of a weekly program.
